Mike Carloss named DU's SW Unit Director of Conservation Programs

Date: 03/11/17

Please join us in congratulating Mike Carloss - the GCP LCC's Steering Committee Vice Chair - as he takes over as the Ducks Unlimited Southern Region’s SW Unit Director of Conservation Programs (March 1st).  Mike had a nearly three decade long career with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, with some state park, and NRCS experience in there as well, before joining the DU team a little over three years ago.  He is a consummate natural resource professional who makes those around him better, and therefore makes DU stronger.  His new role includes NM, OK and Texas, in addition to his familiar stomping grounds in Louisiana. Carloss holds a Master of Science in biology with an emphasis in ecology and a Bachelor of Science in wildlife management. He will continue to work out of the DU field station at 125 Southpark in Lafayette Louisiana, and reside with his wife Julie, in Broussard, Louisiana.
